Please find the following information about some of the routines and expectations of being in Year 4: -

Homework – Homework will be set on a Friday and handed in on a Thursday.  If the homework is TTrockstars then work will be monitored online.  If pupils are struggling to complete their homework at home, then they will be invited to Homework Club on a Friday lunchtime to help them complete their work.

PE PE will be on Monday and a Friday, children will be expected to wear school PE kit, to make that easier please send your child to school in their school jumper, white t shirt, black shorts and socks (black tracksuit bottoms/black leggings if you prefer, and when it gets colder).

Timestables – At the end of Year 4, all pupils will be taking part in a Government Timetables test, so therefore any support you can give your child by encouraging them to practice would be greatly appreciated.  The following websites are great: -

Reading – Reading is vital to your child’s education, we would appreciate your support by encouraging your child to read as many times as possible at home.  Your child will have a Reading Diary and book and they will be expected to be signed when your child has read and brought into school every day.
