Parent Learning
At Lovers’ Lane Primary and Nursery, we strongly believe that working together with families is the best way forward to help the children and families and play our part in the community. We are keen to support parents in their own opportunity to develop as a learner, whether it is an interest (such as flower arranging, language classes or crafts), skills to return to work or move into a new career direction or parent and community groups for support and social time together.
We work closely with Bridge Children’s Centre in Newark, Together for Newark (a collective of local services and businesses alongside local education providers at Primary, Secondary and Further Education levels), Local Colleges and our community, such as churches, other faith groups and charities.
If as a parent you have an interest in a course or other opportunities and need help to source somewhere, please use the contact button below and we will do our best to source somewhere you can go to join up or even host the opportunity in school if there is enough interest.
