We all enjoyed hearing all about how Olly started swimming at age 2, swam his first competitive races age 9 and competed on the world stage since 2011, winning gold in his first world championships and then Olympic gold at London 2012 and Rio 2016.
He related his determination, hard work and drive to our school values and gave the children good advice.
“set yourself a goal and when you don’t feel like getting up that bit early or getting going on whatever it is to make your dream happen, or you don’t feel like doing whatever task it is, look at your goal and reset your passion and determination to succeed”.
