COVID UPDATE: Latest guidance in Lockdown 2

We are delighted to share that almost all of the Latest guidance had already been put in place at our school in the fortnight before October half term.

-staff are wearing face masks around the building and site in shared spaces and where social distancing may prove difficult. Staff are also wearing masks when they are public facing, such as on school gates.

-parents and carers were already wearing face coverings at school request on drop off and pick up which is now suggested.

-visitors in school complete a track and trace form and we have an NHS test and trace app barcode available.

-visitors in school are restricted to essential visitors only. This has been the case since we since we first entered National Lockdown in March 2020.

-Parents do not enter school site unless by invitation in exceptional circumstances.

- Hand hygiene and social distancing and separation of bubble groups continues.

What’s new?

-all staff who are extremely clinically vulnerable are again shielding and working from home as of 2nd November 2020 as this is a new point of guidance in Lockdown 2. School is backfilling these positions so pupils do not miss out.
