English / Whole class reading - Join us for a live Teams lesson at 11 am.  If you are unable to join us live then

1)  Read the next part of Pig heart boy (PPT in Teams or can email you directly) and write down 5 facts and 5 opinion.s

2)  Create an OSIE grid (see the word document in files).  This considers:

Observation - what you can see in the picture.

Senses - What you could see, hear, smell, taste and touch - if you were in the picture.

Imagination - Use your imagination (similes / metaphors / personification) to describe what is happening. 

Emotion - How the picture makes you feel? 

Use descriptive language to write a story opening. Start with the sentence..

It should have been like any ordinary dusk on the banks of the lake, but something was different.
