Mathematics involves:

     - Providing children with opportunities to develop and improve their skills in counting, 

       understanding and using numbers, calculating simple addition and subtraction problems.

     - To describe shapes, spaces, and measures.

In Foundation 1 we have been making 2D shapes out of sticks. We are now able to recognise a circle, square, rectangle and a triangle.
