Show Respect Work Together Aspire Nurture
Our School Cook, Mrs Hassell and her team, Mrs Muers and Mrs Jones work very hard to make sure every child in school enjoys their meal when they have school dinners. They take the time to get to know every child and what they like and will eat and ensure that they are catered for. For the last eight years, our kitchen team have maintained a 5 star Food Hygiene rating and have recently been awarded Gold Food for Life award for the school dinners served. We are immensely proud of our kitchen staff, not only for the high quality food they produce consistently, but also for their care and nurture of the children.
All new families to the school are welcome to meet our cook on a tour of the school and discuss their child's dietary requirements.
The cost of a school meal is £2.30 per meal, which is £11.50 per week.
Dinner money should be paid in advance wherever possible and dinner money debt must be settled as soon as possible.
Should debt occur we will not provide school dinners to your child until the debt is cleared in full and you will be expected to provide a packed lunch (sandwiches) for you child until that time. Failure to clear outstanding debt will be referred to the Local Authority. Contact the school office with any queries about payment needs. School can support parents in need with applications for Free School Meals.
