I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed we all are that our last week in Foundation
is to be spent completing Home Learning again. We had so many lovely
activities planned and were so looking forward to a last week of fun and laughter.
That said, we have to keep everybody safe and with that in mind, if your child shows any
symptoms we would encourage you to carry out a lateral flow test or pcr test and
inform school of any positive test results. Both myself and Mrs Hopewell thank you so much for all of your support over the last (very unusual!) year and we hope you have
a wonderful and relaxing summer break.
As always, please don't hesitate to get in touch by email if you need any support
during our last few days of term
From Mrs Williams and Mrs Hopewell 😊
We have had a fantastic few weeks in F2, the children have been enjoying our new
topic of Superheroes and we have now started to look at people who are 'real life' superheroes such as Police Officers and Firefighters. We are still making full use of
our outdoor area and go outside whatever the weather. With this in mind,
even on warmer days, the children still need to bring a coat and to be wearing
sensible school shoes. As always, please make sure all your child's
belongings are named. Please also make sure your child is bringing their
book bag each day, along with their reading diary.
Thank you for all your support,
Mrs Williams and Mrs Hopewell
We have had great fun exploring the world of Superheroes over the past few weeks. We have made superhero hand print artwork, designed our own superhero vehicles, read
new stories such as Supertato and Superworm and also dressed up as
superheroes ourselves in the Superhero Headquarters role play!
Please use this form to contact me and I will respond as soon as I am able.

Look at the fantastic Home Learning that our amazing F2 children have been doing - well done! Both myself and Mrs Hopewell are so proud of you and we love seeing your pictures!
Hi everybody 🙂 To make things as easy as possible, just like last time, all the F2 activities will be posted daily on this page. I will continue to upload a Literacy, Phonics, Maths and Creative/Physical activity for you to complete at home with your child. Please also continue to read with your child as much as you can. As before, please upload any photo's/videos of your child/children's learning to Tapestry or email it to me at
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. If you would like to look at previous weeks Home Learning activities these can now be found underneath the Home Learning photo's.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Williams and Mrs Hopewell
Into.....Parties and Celebrations
Our topic this half term across Foundation is 'Parties and Celebrations.' So far we have looked at Bonfire Night, Diwali, Remembrance Day and now we will look at Christmas for the remaining few weeks. The children have been exploring non-fiction books in class about celebrations such as Holi, Ramadan and birthday parties!
Mrs Hopewell made some wonderful Diya pots with the children and we had lots of fun at our Bonfire Night carousel, making edible sparklers, cooking hotdogs outside and painting pumpkins with our student Miss Hall. Over the next few weeks we will be watching a virtual pantomime of Cinderella, singing carols, making top-secret Christmas things and, the highlight, having our Foundation Christmas party!
Here are some photo's of this term so far.....
