School Council

We have a School Council at our school, who are voted for by the children in elections. Having the elections and standing as a candidate for School Council help us understand democracy and is part of our understanding of British Values. We also think it is very important that the children have a voice in our school and can make things happen.

The School Council meet each half term with Miss J Hodgkinson & Mrs P Nicholson

School Council 2024-2025

Our new School Councilors for 2024-2025 are coming soon!

Year 1/2:

Year 3/4:

Year 4/5:

Year 6:

We will have an action plan of events and fundraising work for 2024-2025.

Our school councilors will lead on ‘learning forum’ sessions.

Our first events will be the ‘Wear Yellow for Mental Health’, Childline’s ‘The Kindness Challenge’ and Macmillan Cake Sale. Throughout the year we will also be holding cakes and non-uniform days.

Some of the money we raise will be given to school and the school councilors will decide how it will spent.

Also the school council will represent the school at events in the local community, for example Remembrance Day Service at Church.
