Show Respect Work Together Aspire Nurture

How do admissions work at Lovers' Lane Primary and Nursery School?

At our school, we welcome visits to the school from all prospective parents. We are proud to give you a tour of our super school and answer and questions you may have.

Admissions to our Nursery unit are managed by the office in liaison with our EYFS (Early Years and Foundation Stage) team. Our EYFS lead/Nursery teacher is Miss Harding.

Following a tour of the school and meeting the nursery staff, we will provide you with an information pack, which contains information about the school, expectations, uniform and all the forms you will need to complete to apply for your child's place. It is possible for you meet our school cook on this tour of the school and discuss any dietary requirements your child may have if the are coming to Lovers' Lane and will be having school dinners.

From Foundation 2 (Reception class) onwards, our admissions are not controlled by the school, but by the Admissions Team at the Local Authority. Please contact our school office through the link below and they will help you to contact Admissions and can support you with the process of applying for a place for your child at the school.

If you have any questions and wish to discuss your query in school, please ask for Mrs Watts who will be happy to help you or signpost you to the correct place at the Local Authority if you need help from them. You can contact her through the link to the office (contact form below) or by telephoning the school or popping in to speak to us face to face.
