Pupil Voice Groups
School Council
As our curriculum is designed to ensure we are 'Empowering Everyday Excellence' by shaping futures and enabling every voice, we want to make sure that the voices of our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. The School Council is a group of dedicated pupils who work together to make our school the best it can be. They represent the views of all students, lead important initiatives and help ensure every voice is heard. Through teamwork, responsibility and leadership, the School Council plays a vital role in shaping a positive, inclusive and respectful school community.
The School Council is made up of the following groups of pupils from Year 6:
2 x School Ambassadors
School Ambassadors represent the school with pride at events, tours, and meetings. They serve as positive role models, often leading assemblies and supporting staff in communicating pupil voice. They promote the school’s values and ethos, lead School Council meetings, collect class council books and share outcomes with the Headteacher.
2 x Kindness Ambassadors
Kindness Ambassadors promote a culture of kindness and positive relationships throughout the school. They lead anti-bullying initiatives, support peers during playtimes and help embed British Values across the school community.
2 x Pride Ambassadors
Pride Ambassadors encourage everyone to take pride in their school environment. They work closely with the site manager to help keep the school clean, organised and welcoming for all.
2 x Inclusion Ambassadors
Inclusion Ambassadors champion diversity and equality by promoting respect for all cultures, backgrounds and beliefs. They support the planning of inclusive celebrations and actively work to challenge stereotypes, helping to promote protected characteristics across the school.
2 x Digital Ambassadors
Digital Ambassadors help promote the safe and responsible use of technology. They support classmates with digital tools and lead efforts to raise awareness around online safety throughout the school.
2 x Play Ambassadors
Play Ambassadors ensure lunchtimes are fun and inclusive by sorting play equipment and organising other play leaders. They focus on engaging EYFS and KS1 pupils, helping to create positive play experiences for younger children.
